Channel Four Television
Brief: Update and make a distinctive continuation of last year's
strong brand identity for Big Brother, a popular reality TV show,
that seamlessly works across multi-platforms; TV, print, web.
Concept: Continuing last year identity the familiar eye logo was
rendered with concentric circles made of standard cyan, yellow,
magenta print colours, which are printed as separate flat solids.
When viewed up close the viewer can clearly see the three component
colours, when viewed from a distance the colours optically mix forming
green and orange.
The identity uses the concentric circles to animate in and out of
the epicenter creating an optical sensation that is suggested even
when viewed as a static print logo.
