Brief: Create an identity for a subsidiary record label called ‘Soundproof’. Consider promo and commercial release packaging and how an identity can translate over a series of releases.

Commercial release


Concept: A set of three components have been established to work together to form the Soundproof identity, 1. Raw packaging material. 2. Die cut slots. 3. Sound waves. These fit together in various manifestations. The CD promo has die cut holes allowing information printed on the CD to be legible regardless of how the CD is inserted. The commercial release has a graphic representation of the music’s sound structure.
