POP / On-air identity and graphics

Client: Endemol UK Productions

Brief: Create an identity, title sequence, and on air graphics for a new music chart show on Channel Five.

Concept:
The Pop identity and on-air titles are a modern adaptation of the classic Bob Dylan music video, “Subterranean Homesick Blues” where the visual, by being updated weekly, literally informs the viewers of the content of the show. The Pop logo, a visual onomatopoeia, looks like the sound of the word Pop.
